Hi there,

I want to build a flow for the management of our shared mailbox. what happened is that email that required action are often overlook. So I want to create a list item in a "do to" list from emails have been categorized.

So I've build a scheduled flow that check every 15 mins all the emails in the mailbox that have been categorized as "to do" and create a item in a list.

So far so good, but the hiccup is that it duplicates items are it looks at all the emails that have a category. Even the ones that have been already considered.

I'm wondering how I can avoid this duplication 🤔

Any idea ?  Thank you

In your list, record the Conversation ID for the message. Then before adding an email, first use a Get Items action looking for that Conversation ID and if the length of the results is 0, then create the new item.

Thanks for the feedback, everytime I get an error:
The execution of template action 'Apply_to_each' failed: the result of the evaluation of 'foreach' expression '@items('Apply_to_each_2')?['conversationId']' is of type 'String'. The result must be a valid array.

@Larry_57330 Can you post a screenshot of your flow with the actions expanded in edit mode so I can see exactly what you're working with?
