Action: "Populate text field in window" not writing ÆØÅÜ etc.

Hi.

I am having some issues with a Desktop flow that manipulates some UI Window and inputs some form data stored in variables in various fields.

 

One of the variables I am writing contains various Nordic letters like Æ, Ø, Å, Ä, Ö etc. But the Flow is not writing these letters in the field.

 

Looking through the Log of the Run shows me that the Variable populates with the correct letters, but the action fails to write them.

 

Any tips on how to fix this?

    Hi @Gematria 

     

    I'm not sure which application you are trying to

    But I'm able to print the Nordic Letters in a google search text box without any issue, below is the screenshot

    Just tested a bit more, and it only seems to happen on the Servers where we are running our RPA Bot unattended. The correct keyboards are installed, but it still fails to write the nordic letters.

    We have the same issue with our Croatian letters čćšđž, but only in unattended mode. Robot reads excel table and saves the words in a variable which contains those letters but when it's time to write them in another application, those letters are left blank. In attended mode it works fine.  For example word 'kuća' gets written like 'ku a'.

     

    We updated to new 2.32 PAD version, but yesterday we were at v2.26 having the same problem.
