When connecting my Modern Combo box to our AAD via Office365Users.SearchUserV2() I can see my results in the dropdown when selected.

If I select a user without searching it populates the combo box, and is marked as selected in the list of choices. However, if I search (which is a little flakey) and then select my user, they do not appear in the combo box, nor are they shown as selected when you open the dropdown again.

Is there a BUG with whereby selecting a search result from the combo box it does not populate the Selected property, if so, when will there a be a fix for this issue?

Hi @CARTERA_1 ,

Firstly, please test if it works properly on a Classic Combo Box. Most Modern Controls are still in Preview and are "work in in progress". They can be unstable/inconsistent, so presently they are best avoided in prod apps if they do not perform as expected with the functions you require.

Hi @WarrenBelz , thanks for the response, the standard combo works fine it is just the modern version. Yep, aware that these are "Preview" and for the most part that is OK as most of the functionality seems to be there, well at least for what I want today :-). Just a real surprise that this is not working as intended as why include the Search property at all.
