Pipelines - unmanaged environment as target environment

Hi

We are using the build in pipelines in solutions, and even though there's a disclaimer saying Target Environments in pipelines must be enabled as Managed Environments, we are succesfully deploying solutions to unmanaged environments.

Should we be worried, that this disclaimer will at some point be enforced, and we are not able to use this feature?
Is there anything in the roadmap that suggest that a change is coming?
If this is by design, and Microsoft allows makers to deploy to unmanaged environments, will the disclaimer be removed, to avoid any confusion?

Regards
Sebastian

here is whats being written inside MS docs. So from this i understand that it works both ways but they will change it soon (see Screenshot)
i would recommend you do change them to managed as it can be Disabled again if you want. (by using Powershell)
