What Audit Reporting Means

Audit logs track:

Who changed data
What changed
When it changed

Stored in the Audit table (system-level)

Step 1: Enable Auditing (Foundation)

Enable at environment level

Settings → Auditing → Enable Auditing

Enable at entity level

Table → Settings → ✔ Enable Auditing

Enable at field level

Select critical fields only (performance )
Step 2: Decide What You Want to Audit

Don’t audit everything

Focus on:

Status changes
Ownership changes
Critical business fields
Security-sensitive updates

Open record → Related → Audit History
