Alternatives to Copilot for Chat/AI in Canvas Power Apps (Europe)

Hi all,

I developed a Canvas App for Purchase Order approvals, displaying PO header & line details, and supporting Approve/Reject/Delegate actions. I want to embed a chatbox or AI assistant so users can ask questions like:

"How many POs are assigned to me?"
"Show last 10 POs with amount > 1000"
"Show pending approvals for PO #1234"

I tried the Copilot component, but it’s not available in the Europe region.

I’m looking for recommendations on:

Best alternatives for chat or AI in Canvas Apps in Europe.
Integration approaches (Power Virtual Agents, AI Builder, Azure OpenAI, etc.).
Examples of similar implementations for PO or workflow apps.

Use Copilot Studio (formerly Power Virtual Agents) embedded directly within the Canvas App, and integrate it with Power Automate and existing PO data sources such as Dataverse, ERP systems, or APIs.

How it works (high level):
A Copilot Studio bot is created to handle conversational interactions.
The bot is embedded into the Canvas App using the supported Chatbot component.
When users ask questions, Power Automate flows are triggered to:

Apply security and role-based logic

Query PO data

Return structured and accurate responses to the bot

The bot then responds directly within the app, allowing users to get answers without leaving the approval experience.
