Flow From Power BI | Apply To Each Limit

Hello All,

I've been trying to use an Apply To Each to test the limits of how many loops that Power Automate will have. I can only manage to get 1,000 loops. I've checked the limitations support page - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/limits-and-config#my-flows-limit which states having a 5,000 "Apply to Each" limit. The data within the PBI report has 7,500 datapoints, but the excel file is only showing 1,000 rows of data.

The is a two parter question -

A) Have I done something wrong within the flow I've created which is limiting the Apply To Each to only 1,000?

  • Is what I am doing considered this? As this is the only part that I can see aligns with the 1,000 limit

B) I have a Free Power Automate License, would getting a higher license provide a higher "Apply to Each" looping value?

I've created a few flows all from PBI, and all with a limit of 1,000 'Apply to Each' loops.

Thanks!

I was having the same problem. I finally found that 1,000 rows are the limitation of Power Automate for Power BI as stated in the "Considerations and limitations" section at the bottom of this document: Create a Power Automate visual for Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

If you can use office scripts, then you could use batch actions to send the entire JSON array of PBI data to Excel
