Backup or migrate tables

Hello community,

how can data copied to another tenant?

I used "Export data", downloaded a ZIP... and imported again.

Export/ImportExport/Import

I downloaded one ZIP file containing different CSV files.

Each CSV file has to be uploaded manually, wait until upload, next file. WF?

One other funny thing is: Empty date fields are imported as "1/1/1753" (minimum date). Why?

But that's an real issue and problem.

There is no date in CSV file, but after import in table.
Of course there is a difference between 'null' and a date ... 'Contains data' or 'Doesnt contains data'

Any ideas how to dump tables (like mysqldump) for import again?

Thanks for help,

AndKan.

    Hi @AndKanPA ,

Here is the "Configuration Migration tool" that may help to migrate data from Environment A to B. This will work not only for Dynamics 365(CRM) but also Dataverse(CDS) Here are references regarding this tool:

Move configuration data across environments and organizations with the Configuration Migration tool

    Hope this helps. Thanks!

    Hi @AndKanPA,

The configuration migration tool is not meant for moving large amounts of data. It's purpose is for, as it's name implies, moving configuration data.

You could look at using Dataflows and the Odata connector to connect to the Dataverse Web API and move it to your environment in another tenant.

More information at the reference below.
