Good day everyone,

I have a visitor management app, with a part that asks visitors to scan the bar code on their visitor pass.

The tablet used is in an anti-theft / Kiosk case that only displays the screen, hiding all the physical buttons (Home, Back, etc).

Issue here is that sometimes a person clicks the "BARCODE" control by mistake, which then activates the camera and waits for a barcode to be scanned.

Is there a way to add a "CANCEL" button on the camera control screen directly, instead of relying on the tablet's physical buttons to go back?

Attached is a screenshot of the current setting (Samsung Tablet)

Note: I also found and attached a screenshot from a video by Shane Young where it clearly shows a cancel button (he is using an iphone in his scenario); could this be an Iphone thing only?

Any help would be super appreciated 🙂

Hi Luka,

I don't think you can do this through Power Apps right now, you could try the Ideas board to have it added.

A workaround could be to use the Accessibility options of your device. I can for instance, on my Samsung device go to:

Settings>Accessibility>Interaction and dexterity>Assistant Menu and edit it to only show a floating back button on my screen. Maybe give that a try?

Many thanks, I did consider this but wanted to first check if there is something built in out there
I'll add this idea and also enable the accessibility for the floating back button 😃
