Common Data Service Connector in Power Apps

Hi,

I was initially using D365 connector as data source for my canvas app but since D365 connector has been deprecated I have to switch to Common Data Service.

While adding Common Data Service connector I can see two options as follows..

Common Data Service
Common Data Service (current environment)
I want to know the difference between the two. Please guide me with the same.

Thanks!!

    Hello @ShreyaK

    Canvas app can not be deployed but can be shared with users and only the solutions and entities in it can be deployed to different environments. So when you consider to share the Canvas app make sure the right security roles are assigned to the users who can access it.

    On further deployment issue if you face related to Canvas App check for the resolution in the below forum :

    Or

    You can create a ticket for resolution:

    Thanks

    Thanks for the response @pre

    If I develop my canvas app using Common Data Service(Current Environment) and then import into QA or customers environment then will it consider the target environment's CDS or I have to configure that?

    @ShreyaK please also note that it is highly recommended to use the CDS current environment, you can see this connector only if you are creating your flow from inside a solution

    Common Data Service (current environment)::
    Enables interaction with the Common Data Service in current environment.
