Better ways to stop conversations after the 1 hour mark

Other than mentioning to the user that the session only lasts one hour and that it not to ask too much questions, is there anyways in which people have created a slick way to perhaps end the session in a much smoother way?

or should the expected action be that a user can chat with the bot almost forever, using multiple sessions along the way?

for context, i have create a pva bot in Teams and want the experience to be a little better.

    HI @toninguyen ,

You can do both ways in your bot.

1- After which topic that you have, at the final of conversation, you can redirect to End with Survey action.

This experience will be shown to the user like you have 3 steps (Start, Conversation, Close).

2- You can’t send to the End with Survey, and when user talk to the bot, you will not close this conversation. The user will able to talk every time to the bot and the experience is like a normal conversation.

After 100 messages or 1h is considered like a new session, but is not a problem for you using Microsoft Teams.

Just adding a side note, you can’t send a message using the bot after some minutes that user is away, like “hey, did I answer your question?” because today PVA Bots is not a proactive conversation.
