Is there a way to assign a version to a published agent in Copilot Studio, which it can then also output in the chat upon request? This would allow you to test whether an update has worked correctly or for debugging purposes.

Hi @Konrad,

As far as I know this is not possible out of the box.

What I usually do is create a Topic called version and then use a message node to show my manually updated version number.

But I'm sure there are other ways to solved this as well.

In the "Conversation Start" topic I create a global variable called "Version" and manually update my version there. In Conversation Start I can also display the agent version for confirmation it was updated properly.

In Conversation Start I also have global variables for CustomerServicePhoneNumber, TechSupportPhone, our main website address, and things like that which will be used in various places.
