Power Automate Desktop not free anymore?

I've used the free version of PA Desktop for 4 months now.

This morning I started the app and suddenly it says 'Your free trial version ends in 14 days'

I've checked in Microsoft Admin to confirm that I still have the free license. I have. I reinstalled the app. No change.

Anyone else having this issue?

Oh and of course I only use the so called free Desktop Flows...

- I am on Windows 11 Pro
- all Desktop Flows are marked as 'locally attended' (not RPA I guess)

I just don't get it. Is there a certain limit for free desktop flows?

I think chances are that you applied for the free version when you downloaded the program. So you may currently have some of the $15/mo or $40/mo features and they are warning that those are going to go away in 14 days. Chances are, if you are just running attended flows on your local machine, that you aren’t using any of these anyway. To my knowledge, in Windows 11, anyone can use PAD, but I don’t keep up on all the licensing changes, just what I hear through other posts. In Windows 10, you had to be on at least a Windows 365 license, home/pro I don’t think had PAD, but again, I think they changed this for Windows 11. I’m 95% sure you don’t have anything to worry about, but it’s definitely worth looking into if you are worried about it.

It does that if you use it in conjunction with cloud flows, but you can then re-start the free trial no problem as well so its weird. If that's not it, you can safely ignore the message. (make sure you're not using any actions with a diamond icon next to them though, those are premium, e.g. the sharepoint connector I think?)
