Hello, this has to do with your regional configuration and how you have set it. You must enter Configuration then administration system setting and there you must establish the regional configuration
Currently my format is as you've had mentioned itself.
Check the currency tab because I understand that the field is currency
Additionally, in the Precision source, verify that it is correct.
No actually my field is decimal for the tax column.
You can see the odata to see how it saves it, changes the entity and the record
