I am getting an error while patching other user to person column in sharepoint. patch works fine with my email address.

Any way to identify the cause of this issue.

    @Chandra05  I recently worked on this exact solution! In which Power Apps property do you exactly put this formula?

    hi @Chandra05 ,

    the issue is you are using the same value for Email, Claims and displayName.

    Email and Claims fields should be valid Email

    @anandm08  Oh that's really sharp, I assumed the content was correct but you are absolutely right!  Claims and Email shouldn't contain 'Textinput1.text'. That should be another Textinput containing an e-mailadress.

    @anandm08 @Tjan  This was working earlier in my other apps where i have a combo box to select the user and i used to patch successfully without any issue.

    Same patch function works if i select myself in the combo box but when i select other user i get the error.

    @Chandra05 Did you put the formula in the "Update" property of a Form Control?

    @Tjan Formula in on the button - Onselect property.

    Ah okay. In my solution I have a form control and connected this to a Sharepoint list. Afterwards in the 'Update' property of the Datacard I put the following formula:

    {
    Claims: DataCardValue21.Selected.Mail,
    DisplayName: DataCardValue21.Selected.DisplayName,
    Email: ""
    }

    This worked really well for my situation.
