We have power apps which uses sharepoint as datasource. Sharepoint lists are added directly to power apps, not with environment variables.

Organization is going to rename tenant from for example
to

My question will it broke our power apps and forms somehow?

"Break" is probably a strong word as it is easily fixable. You will get errors on the connections of every SharePoint list, but it is simply a matter of going to your data sources, deleting the old ones and then navigating to the new ones and connecting them.

A good practice is to use Environment Variables for your connections, that way all you need to dois change the reference in them and it will fix every app using the List in the Variable.

@WarrenBelz yes that's clear that environment variables for this should be used. but we have already old solution build with bad practice and directly connected sharepoint as a datasource.

some people tell that it will not break because power app uses id not name for sharepoint.

If it will break i don't  know  if it will be easy fix, because we have lots of forms in solution with multiple fields and from if i reassigne datasource of form then usually it reloads fields and all logic goes out and form breaks.

Both myself and several customers have done this exercise multiple times when I did not have access to their environment - moving connections between identically named lists with identical field names and types on different sites). In earler times (before solutions), this was done with a Zip file package.

There has never been a problem simply first deleting the wrong list and then connecting the correct one.

What you have been told it only half correct - SharePoint does indeed connect to the Id of the list in the connection, but refers to the list name in any code. Initially the original code will not error until you try and read from/ write to it (then it will not be able to find anything with the current connection), but once you establish a valid connection, everything should work. All the controls in your Forms will still have valid list and field names and now a valid connection they can query.
