Copilot Studio: Unable to read Sent Items + how to share agent with trigger

Hi! I'm creating a Copilot Studio agent that should run every Friday at lunchtime and generate a weekly summary of my unanswered sent emails (Mon–Fri), excluding replies/forwards.

My two main issues:

1. The agent can’t read my Sent Items folder in Outlook

Even with delegated permissions, the agent returns no emails.

Is this a known limitation?

Do I need a specific connector, permission scope, or alternative way to query Sent Items through Graph inside Copilot Studio?

2. How to share the agent so the schedule/trigger follows

When sharing the agent with colleagues, the scheduled trigger does not seem to transfer.

What is the correct way to share a Copilot Studio agent so that:

  • the trigger is included,

  • each user runs it with their own delegated mailbox permissions,

  • everyone gets their own weekly digest?

  •

Any clear guidance, best practices, or workarounds for reading Sent Items and sharing agents with active triggers would be really helpful.

Thanks!

try thisf For the Sent Items issue:

This isn't a Sent Items limitation. Scheduled triggers run with the agent author's credentials, so you're only reading your own mailbox unless you're using end-user credential triggers.

To query Sent Items, use Office 365 Outlook > Send an HTTP request and call: GET /me/mailFolders/SentItems/messages

If it returns nothing, check if your environment blocks maker-provided credentials. That can stop autonomous runs from accessing mail.

    For sharing the weekly digest:

Sharing the agent doesn't create one schedule per user with their own mailbox. Triggers still use the author's credentials.

Only two ways to make this work:

    1. Each user sets up their own scheduled agent with their own connection

    2. Use triggers with end-user credentials (if your tenant allows it) so each user authorizes it individually

Let me know if that worked out for you.

Just wanted to check in and see if everything is working now. If you still need any help, feel free to let me know.

Also, if the issue is resolved, it would be great if you could mark the answer as solved so others with the same question can find it easily.

Thanks and have a great day!
