How to multiply data between columns of excel using PAD and write it on Excel

Hello All,

 

Looking forward to knowing a way to multiply the values A2*B2 and get the result in C2, similarly for row 3 in the given figure.

 

I tried using list & table, unfortunately being new to PAD. I'm not getting the results as expected.

 

I appreciate your help, TIA.

    Hi @AakashV !

     

    Try using the flow given below:

    The reason as to why I used the "Convert text to number" is that by default if you type in a number say '5' in excel worksheet it will assume as text. Hence this action will help in multiplication of the two numbers.

     

    Results:
    Before ---

    Hi Nanthan , It worked. The option or lead to use "convert text to number" really helped me.
