Getting Wrong Start Screen When Playing the App

I have created my first app in Power Apps and while doing so I was watching videos on youtube which instructed me to create a template page with all the buttons and fields I would use. After completing the app whenever I go play the app, i get that template page. not my home screen. i deleted the template screen but it still appears as the first screen I get. there is no navigation on this screen so I cannot get anywhere in my newly created app. it works fine from the preview in the editor. i have checked the startscreen propertied of the app and it is correct. What am i missing

Hi,

Did you publish the app

Also, please use pictures to explain.

Whatever Screen is listed FIRST in the tree of screens, will be displayed. until you publish you will continue to get the same even if you deleted it from Dev Studio.

Thank you. I had not published the App yet as I was worried it would display the incorrect way to the users. You were correct though. Once published the user experience is as it should be.
