Currently no matter what I change the name to, in the actual chat with the bot the name displays as
Bot User - CF6___-___-.....
Even though I have the name set to be find conference room bot. Is there a way to actually change the name of the bot in the conversation.

It should be possible to change the name:

After you published your change it should appear with the new name. If that does not help it might be useful to sign out and sign back in the Teams Desktop client.

We have a need to change the name of a bot but don't want to get stuck with an ID instead of a name....
