power automate desktop and cloud flows

good afternoon everybody.

i have created (with the help of this community) a cloud flow that automatically creates a onenote section when i accept a meeting.

 

my problem now is that i wish to transfer my cloud flows to desktop because when i am not authenticated with MS (mfa included), cloud flows don't run.

is it possible to trasfer my cloud flows in the desktop automate?

    Cloud flows and desktop flows operate completely differently.  Cloud flows are based on triggers and actions.  Desktop flows are designed to interact with the desktop User Interface.  With the right licensing they can talk to each other, but you would need to completely redesign the flow as a desktop flow.

     

    But I don't quite understand your comment that cloud flows don't run if you aren't logged in.  Cloud flows use OAuth authentication, so you need to be logged in to create the connection, but they should continue to run after you log out.

    Hi @gianfausto , 

     

    Both operates differently, you need to script in Power Automate Desktop separately.
