Quick Find to show all records on Account entity

Hi - I am looking to see if a quick find view can show Account names for example - If I type Ottawa it should search all accounts starting with ottawa or something like city of ottawa and not only show exact names.

Now in contact - there is field called first name and last name so its easy to set criteria to search with those names. However in Account we only have Account Name field, so the search looks for exact match.

The old classic CRM has this feature and was easy to use, not sure why this is not available in powerapps.
I have the same question (0)

    Hi @Zii,
What is your data source type and size ? For instance if you are using Dataverse, you can use the Search function supported by Delegation, so
    Search(
       YourTable,
       YourSearchBox.Text,
       'Account Name'
    )
would find any entries in the 'Account Name' field containing the string the user entered in the search box. If you are using SharePoint, there are some  restrictions on the number of records you could query with this, but this can often be addressed with a delegable pre-filter.

    Hi @Zii

WE are using dataverse and I am looking a way to add something into the quick find view itself and publish this changes. However your suggestion looks like a code and I will try to add that.

@Ram Prakash Duraisamy : I am aware of this however our users are looking a way to not use this.

    HI @Zii

I can totally understand, but i feel there is no other way to find the same, else we need to write code against RETRIEVE MULTIPLE to achieve the same. Lets wait for others responses too.

@WarrenBelz: No it did not work I beleive the suggestion you gave is for canvas app and mine is Model-driven / CRM Quick Find: and I want to configure the table’s Quick Find View where I do not want to use "*" and allow users to search with Account names like ottawa and give any account that has account in it.

    Hi @Zii,
Yes - it was for Canvas Apps - it is a good idea to state your app type as it will generally affect the response content. I assumed Canvas as that is what the large majority of the community posts deal with. I do not use MDAs, so unfortunately cannot be of a lot of assistance here.
