Hello,

in my android Flow app, I don't see my button flows anymore; they were visible yesterday.I'm connected to the good environment.

In the Flow web site, I can see them. I've reinstalled the app on nother phone, same problem.

I've tried to logout and login again, same problem; any idea how to fix it ?

Thank you

    Hi Serge

thank you for your feedback. Buttons appear in the Button Tab only if they are actually enabled, since the Buttons tab holds the button flows which you can actually trigger at the moment.

we are working on adding more functionality to Mobile buttons so that you can leverage it even further. happy to hear any further feedback.

    Thanks,

    Adi

What i mean is earlier in Power Automate mobile app we used to get button section to create button flow in mobile app. That button section is not visible anymore.

If the buttons or flows in your Android mobile app are not visible anymore, it could be due to a variety of reasons. Here are some common troubleshooting steps you can take to address this issue:

    1. Check Layout and Visibility Properties:

      • Verify the layout XML file for the screen where the buttons are supposed to be. Ensure that the visibility property is set to visible for the buttons.
      • Examine the layout parameters (such as layout_width and layout_height) to ensure that the buttons are given appropriate dimensions.
    2. Inspect Code Logic:

      • Review the Java/Kotlin code associated with the activity or fragment where the buttons are located. Check for any logic that might programmatically set the visibility of the buttons.
      • Ensure that the code to set button visibility is not being inadvertently triggered, causing the buttons to be hidden.
    3. Device Screen Size and Density:

      • Test your app on different devices with varying screen sizes and densities. It's possible that the layout works as expected on some devices but not on others.
      • Use RelativeLayout or ConstraintLayout for more flexible designs that can adapt to different screen sizes.
    4. Check for Overlapping Views:

      • Examine the layout to ensure that no other views are overlapping the buttons, making them appear hidden. Use the layout preview tool in Android Studio to visualize the layout.
    5. Review Theme and Style Attributes:

      • Confirm that the app's theme and style attributes are not affecting the visibility of buttons. Sometimes, the color or background of buttons may make them blend in with the background.
    6. Test with a Clean Build:

      • Perform a clean build of your project to ensure that there are no stale or outdated resources causing the issue.
    7. Use Device Emulator:

      • If you don't have access to multiple physical devices, use the Android Emulator to simulate different devices and screen sizes.
    8. Check for Runtime Changes:

      • If your app handles configuration changes (e.g., screen rotation), ensure that the buttons are correctly reinitialized and visible after such changes.
    9. Logging and Debugging:

      • Add logging statements to your code to track the state of the buttons and identify when their visibility changes. Use debugging tools to step through your code and identify any issues.
    10. Version Control:

      • If you're using version control (e.g., Git), check the commit history to see if any recent changes might have introduced the problem.

By systematically going through these steps, you should be able to identify and resolve the issue with the buttons not being visible in your Android mobile app.
