Can Microsoft Flow make an HTTP request to on-premises systems via ExpressRoute?

I would like to use MS Flow to connect to an on-premises web server via ExpressRoute to retrieve data. But ExpressRoute does not support Microsoft Flow.

1) ExpressRoute does not support Microsoft Flow.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/enterprise/azure-expressroute#what-office-365-services-are-included

2) The HTTP action provided by Microsoft Flow does not support the on-premises data gateway, so it can not make an HTTP request to on-premises systems.

    Hi @Kenjis ,

On-premises data gateway only supports the following data sources:

    • SQL Server
    • SharePoint
    • Oracle
    • Informix
    • Filesystem
    • DB2

If you need to connect to ExpressRout, please feel free submit your request on Flow Ideas Forum:

    https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Flow-Ideas/idb-p/FlowIdeas

However, you could consider connecting to custom on-premises APIs using data gateway, please check the following blog for a reference:

    https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/on-premise-apis/

More details on how to create a custom connector at here:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/custom-connectors/define-blank

    Best regards,

    Mabel

What's missing from the answer below is : "And go ahead and use HTTP with Azure AD connector instead...."😁
