Hi
I'm trying to connect PVA to a Teams channel. Currently have O365 E3 licences so should be able to set up and assign questions using without a PVA trial or purchase and link to a Teams channel as I'm not using connectors.
Issue is I am prompted with the cost and buy now button for PVA when trying to set up as O365 global admin.
Should I just go ahead and accept this and wont be charged as it is not using connectors or should it be configured via another way?
Regards
Chris
Hi @ChrisD2 ,
Did I answer your question?
As I said, it's just an alert message, I'm seeing the same message when I'm using the PVA for the Web license.
Can we close this topic?
Hi @ChrisD2 ,
If you are not using a Power Automate workflow (for any bots in your Teams environment) with premium connectors (custom, SAP, Word Online, Dynamics, etc), you don't need to do anything, it's just an alert to you.
No worries!
So if you are using any premium connector for any workflow in any bots, you will need to buy soon this license.
Hi @ChrisD2 ,
You are seeing the purchase panel, you don't need to buy a license to use inside the Microsoft Teams.
Go to the Admin Center, Users, select the user, Licenses and Apps, and enable the PVA for Office 365 (This way I used some weeks ago, maybe still the same way).
But today, I heard that all customers are automatically set like "PVA for Office 365" license, you don't need to do anything.
I've installed the PVA for Teams app but it would only let me go so far then after the message below had to logon as a global admin
When I try to publish that is when I get the screen I referenced in the first post -
Thanks
Why I am still seeing the following screenshot when accepting this though? How can I be certain we wont be billed for this?
Hi @ChrisD2
In addition to the above, I guess there's no need to assign a separate license to use PVA for MS team. Just install or access the PVA app. Try accessing this link
Hi @ChrisD2 ,
Using the Microsoft 365 Admin Center you should be able to assign Microsoft Teams and Power Virtual Agents for Office 365 licenses. If you click to buy now or starts the trial button, you will use the PVA for Web license.
You can see these documentations:
Assign user licenses and manage access in Teams - Power Virtual Agents | Microsoft Docs
Manage user access to Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Docs
