Access management - Powerapp form vs. Sharepoint

Hi,

I'm trying to build an online form that will feed into a Sharepoint list.

I created a form on a canvas app and connected it to the list, but i have a problem managing access.

Access requirements -

* Form - All Employees in AD

* Sharepoint site - only a few people should have access

What would be the best way to do this?

thanks!

    got it, Thanks!

Do you have a suggestion on anything else i can use to do this? was planning on using Microsoft forms but it won't allow adding a people picker which is important here...

That's not really possible.  AS I said, Power Apps depends on the permissions in SharePoint.  So to create a new record in Power Apps they will need to be able to create a record in the SharePoint list.  You can set the settings of the list so everyone can only see their own list items, but that will apply to everyone who isn't an admin.  So no one but the original creator will see that record. Which is not what you describe.

thank you! I only need them to create a new form, but not to be able to see any of the data in the list... is it possible?

Power Apps isn't a security layer.  Users will need the same permissions to the back end data source that they will have to the App/form.  If they will be editing records in SharePoint using the form then they need Contribute or Edit access to the SharePoint list.
