Constant errors retrieving information and having users installing Agents

Hi Folks,

I'm not a coder or a super technical person, so I hope you can indulge some of the non-technical terms.

My company has granted me a Copilot Studio license to deploy - mainly - RAG agents that are grounded in our technical information, so people in the field can consult installation guides, technical data sheets, etc, using an agent via 365 or MS Teams.

When I test in the back end, the responses are reasonably fast and accurate, I have been running evals and everything looks good. When other users try to install the agent they receive an error stating they need to get in contact with an admin but all permissions are given so anyone in the tenant/organization can access the agent.

Some users have been able to install one of the agents but they get errors where the agent is unable to reply - if I do this, there is no problem in the answers.

I'm starting to think Copilot Studio is not the solution that I was promised and I would like to cancel the pilot.

Any help/guidance on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello ,

Here are some helpful steps to address your situation:

    1. Even if permissions appear correct, certain Copilot Studio agent features may need additional admin consent in Microsoft 365/Azure AD. Please have your IT admin check for any pending consent requests or required permissions in Azure AD.

    2. Ensure the agent is published to the Teams app catalog and shared with the appropriate users or groups. Note that “everyone” may not include guests or external users.

    3. Verify that all users have the correct Copilot Studio or Power Virtual Agents license, as trial or pilot licenses might function differently.

    4. Ask users to sign out and back in, or update Teams. It’s also helpful to try both the web and desktop versions.

    5. If you wish to cancel, please reach out to your Microsoft admin or account representative to end the pilot and revoke licenses.
