Please upgrade your Power Automate for desktop installation before updating to the latest version of web browsers utilizing the Chromium engine v113.x.y (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge). Upgrading of the browsers without upgrading the Power Automate for desktop installation will result in failure of desktop flows that utilize “Browser automation” actions.

A hotfix is released for Power Automate for desktop v2.31 and can be downloaded from the official links. All users impacted with this version installed must upgrade to the latest v2.31 build as soon as possible.

For users who have installed versions v2.28, v2.29, v2.30 of Power Automate for desktop, Hotfix builds are available from today, the 3rd of May, 2023.  However, Microsoft recommends upgrading to the latest version. If you do not desire to upgrade to the latest, then you may download the respective Hotfix build from the links below:

NOTE: The specific links will be active until the 2nd of June, 2023.

For all users who have installed version v2.27 of Power Automate for desktop or older, you must upgrade to a newer version.

Same issue as everyone above, all flows working perfectly until the updates and then suddenly riddled with errors. Ruined everything.

An upgrade that cuts one of the main functionality of the product (bug, I hope?) + no official way to downgrade + no reaction in support forum. it starts to feel like a very bad joke.

    Hi,

    Any news regarding this problem?

I am having trouble with all the flows using Browser automation. Tried to update and reinstall everything but still no success. Everything was working ok for me until Chrome updated to v113. After the update, all the flows started to fail (they were working fine a few minutes before Chrome update). I was using PAD v2.26 so I thought maybe that was a problem, but after the PAD update, the flows are still not working.

the action "Run JavaScript function on web page" was for the last 2 years, by far, the fastest and more resilient way to extract single data point from webpages, and has been nearly rendered useless in the last few month, not working at all on Chrome, and returning [object Object] where before it would just return strings. Is that going to be fixed. Updated to 2.32, still not working

    Hi,

I'm staying on PAD ver2.26 until you get some handle of current situation.

After upgrading to 2.31 yesterday, I found that when using the "Extract data from web page" function from some websites, the mouse cannot click on the small page "Extract element value" and "Extract entire HTML table".

Can you fix this bug as soon as possible, it seriously affects the normal operation of the production flow.

I also have multiple flows failing, even though I'm running the latest version of PAD and the PA browser extension - I keep getting an error message of 'Failed to assume control of Microsoft Edge' which is one of the first steps in the process.

    Everything ran fine in V2.26.
