Does the data recorded in a common data service goes back to the server?

Hi Power App Community!

I am building an app using a Common Data Service connected to a SQL server database. I was wondering if the data collected from the power app does also go back and gets recorded not just in the Common Data Service but also in the SQL server database.

Thank you,

Ddesa

    Hi @Anonymous ,

Do you mean the CDS entity is imported from SQL Server and you want to know if the CDS entity will synchronize back to the SQL?

If my understanding is right, it can be implemented by MS flow.

    Create three Automated flows,

    • Triggered when a record is created, Insert a SQL row
    • Triggered when a record is updated, Update a SQL row
    • Triggered when a record is deleted, Delete a SQL row

    For example:

    Hope this helps.

    Sik
