I have a workflow returning the wrong time zone. I have checked my SharePoint regional settings and they are correct (Pacific Time). However, when my workflow is executed, it returns GMT time. Any ideas where to took? Could it be an issue with our SharePoint servers?

Hi @Esteban2800 ,
Power Automate uses UTC for time. You can use the convert time zone action to change to desired time zone.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/4557244/converting-time-zone-in-microsoft-power-automate#:~:text=Using%20the%20action,%22Convert%20time%20zone%22%20operation.&text=Base%20time%3A%20The%20datetime%20you,the%20datetime%20is%20currently%20in.
Wow, interesting. Now why in the world will they do that? Thanks~!
Should a place the code before the workflow executes? It not even working at all.
Hi @Esteban2800,
I'm not sure what your flow is doing with the date after it's retrieved. A screenshot of your flow would help.
That said, in whatever action you're using the date, you would want to use the expression addHours(<DATEFIELD>, 7). This will make up the difference between Pacific and GMT, so now it will be the correct UTC time.
I got it working. I had to pass the current conversation time.
Hi, this sounds like a solution but in my case, I'm not getting the option "converted time" as an output from my "convert time zone" actions like you're getting. I can only choose "start time" and end time, but they just return the start and end times in UTC. When I test my flow and I check the outputs, the "convert time zone" actions works fine, it outputs the right events in the expected time zone, but then when I want to use the "select" action to retrieve the start and end times, I have no output from the convert time zone actions under "dynamic content", I just have all the possible output from the "get calendar events" action before that, so I can choose start and end or in my case I use the expression formatdatetime because I want to use a custom format, and it takes the times before the conversion, so it keeps showing me times in UTC. I can't seem to choose the output "converted time zone" at all from the dynamic actions. Any ideas? Thanks a lot in advance.
This is the same problem I'm hitting - you didn't happen to find a solution did you?
