Test Connection to the Database is Successful, however the Connection string is failing every time and give the stated error in the article.

Do we need to change the Provider if yes do you have any idea what is the right provider.. we have tested with different provider following this link still same results.

    Hi,

the error message refers to the Data Source name which seems not to exist. Have you checked your Connection string regarding this?

Have you actually created the data source name (DSN) on your machine for the database? That is required to connect to databases such as Oracle from PAD. See this guide on how to do it: https://www.ihsenergy.ca/support/documentation_ca/Harmony/content/html_files/setting_up_your_database_for_import/creating_a_dsn/creating_a_dsn_for_an_oracle_db.htm
