Dear All,

I am trying to test the Sharepoint Knowledge Source with Excel file i did the followowing.

1. Created the knowledge Source as Sharepoint.

2. Pointed to the file under documents folder

3. Created the "Inputs" Section, you can see the screen shot attached.

4. Created the "outputs" Section, you can see the screen shot attached.

Still i am not able to get any answers while testing the agent, it says " No information was found that could help answer this."

Please help me here....

Hi, according to documentation for Copilot Studio, gen AI supported content don't include excel...
Generative answers obtain content stored in these formats:

SharePoint pages (modern pages)

Word documents (docx)

PowerPoint documents (pptx)

PDF documents (pdf)

Thank you for replying to my question, I have seen couple of videos where in Excel is formatted as table and can extract the data, here are the videos...

This is what I am trying to do..

1. My sales and accounts team will post the updated excel to one of my sharepoint location.

2. I wanted this agent to answer the question to all other relevant departments.

Ofcourse I am formatting as table etc etc.

Please suggest.

i could able to solve the issue by changing the setting located at "Using generative AI in conversations" to "AI Generative"

Please make sure there are no issues related to security and Authentication. Can you try with Manual authentication method?
