Hi All,
Need your help!
Use Case: want automated email from shared mailbox for all emails except the ones sent to the shared mailbox from shared mailbox itself
While setting automatic reply from shared mailbox, I need to exclude the shared mailbox email from the 'From' list of dynamic content while using "Send an email from a shared mailbox (V2)".
"When a new email arrives in a shared mailbox (V2)" --> "Send an email from a shared mailbox (V2)"
If 'From' is used as dynamic content, all email senders to shared mailbox will receive automated reply, but it will also send it back to the shared mailbox if the sender is itself the shared mailbox. This results in a continuous loop.
That's good thanks! I have woken to about 1000 emails in a shared mailbox where it is spamming itself!
Thank you so much @v-duann-msft , yes your understanding is correct. Your solution was replying to all emails as an automated reply on top of the original message, but it did gave me a perception and I was able to send automatic replies to all emails ignoring the shared mailbox itself.
Please find the flow I used. This will ignore all emails from the shared mailbox to itself to send out an automatic reply.
Thank you again. Cheers.
Thank you for posting.
According to your description, you would like to configure automatic reply for emails sent to a shared mailbox and want to avoid looping if email is sent by shared mailbox itself. If any misunderstanding, please kindly let me know.
If that’s the case, we can use condition to filter emails based on ‘From’ address as below:
Hope the content above may help you.
Best regards,
Anna
