Paste actions from outside PowerAutomate into new designer

Hi all,

any way to paste the underlying json of a flow from GitHub etc. into the new designer?

Unfortunately, it's not recognized so that the button for "paste an action" does not appear.
My only workaround right now is using the old designer and "My Clipboard" function.
It's a bit frustrating as I think it did already work last year for a couple of weeks.

In Power Automate, when you want to paste a copied action, both flows must use the same designer experience.

It appears that your first screenshot is from the new designer, while the second screenshot is from the classic (old) designer.

If you want to paste the copied action, make sure the target flow is also opened in the new designer. Once both are in the same designer, you should be able to paste the action successfully.

tried chrome and edge. Both not working.
Seems like the clipboard itself is recognized as PowerAutomate asks for clipboard permission, but the paste action in the new designer still does not work.

@S-Venkadesh, you suggestions brought up an idea even so there is no flow I am copying from, but just a json file. But you mentioning the problem with flows must be in the same designer seems to be the solution in a way.

The issue seems to be that when copying an action the old and the new designer seem to have a different schema which cannot be recognized by the other one.
A simple scope and compose looks like that. (Left=New Designer , Right = Old Designer)

Interestingly you can still safe them and the code is properly transformed for the designer in use.
Unfortunately not all flows will be able to be copy/pasted due to some yet unsupported actions.

    Thanks guys!
