UPN not adding when creating a user

Hi all,

 

We are using Power Automate Desktop to create AD users. The user is created but the UPN is not being populated. I set a PowerShell script to change it but when it runs, nothing happens. When I run the command on the server, it works without issue.

 

Set-ADUser -Identity John.Smith -UserPrincipalName john.smith@tww-lab.co.uk

 

I've attached the script, the command to create the user and the stages so far. 

 

Any help would be appreciated.
