Issue with Launch Outlook Action in Power Automate Desktop

I am experiencing an issue with the "Launch Outlook" action in Power Automate Desktop (PAD). When I attempt to launch "New Outlook" using this action, it fails to open. However, if I attempt to launch the "Old Outlook", the "Launch Outlook" action works correctly and launches the application.

Here are the details of my setup:

PAD Version: 2.45.375.24159
Operating System: Windows

    Hi @DivyaPatil !

Unfortunately, outlook automation won't support for new outlook.

Actually, @Deenuji helped me with this issue long back. As I too was using New Outlook and finally realized that this only works with Old Outlook.

    Hi @DivyaPatil ,

Power Automate Desktop (PAD) does not currently support the New Outlook. It seems that PAD works with the “Old” Outlook but fails to launch the “New” Outlook.

It just doesn't work with the new Outlook, as it presumably is a different app. Nothing we can do about it, we just need to wait for MS to update PAD to work with the New Outlook. You might as well report it to their support.

For now, you can also use the Exchange Server actions to work with Exchange-based mailboxes instead of automating the Outlook app. Also, if you have a Premium license of Power Automate, you can also use the Office 365 Outlook actions.

(Note:- if you got your solution you can mark as solution and gives kudos)

    Thanks & Regards
