Hello Everyone,
I have created a canvas app and model driven app I have put both in a same solution,
I want to embed a canvas app in a model driven app in a way that only my canvas app is visible and nothing else should be visible .

My requirement is when I click on a group in a model driven app from the site area canvas app should open in the model driven app and a user can use the app.

I need some help here tq all

Can you clarify why it is you want to build an embedded canvas app? Is there any specific
data that you want to pass from your model driven app to the embedded canvas app?

If you were to create a non-embedded canvas app, you can link to this from your model driven app. It can then open in its entirety in the browser window, outside of the model driven app.

@timl No I am not sending any data to my canvas app, I have tried that it is working but I want my canvas app in a model driven app not in a different window.
But can we embed the canvas app without any relationship between model driven and canvas app?
On click of an option in the site map my canvas should open in the model driven app
I have shared a screen shoot for reference

Hi @

It's not possible to embed a canvas app without a relationship between the model driven and the canvas app, because it's necessary to assign the model driven to a field.

One workaround is to create a non embedded canvas app. You can then display this canvas app in an iFrame within a dashboard. That way, you can can add a link to the container dashboard in your menu, and the canvas app will then display within your model driven app.

Tq I will try that.
I have seen a blog in that we can do it by creating a web resource for some reason i dont know why the app is not loading in the model driven app
I am sharing the link here:

When you say that the app is not loading, can you clarify what you mean by that?

Is the app appearing but stuck with the spinning 'loading' icon, or is nothing appearing at all?

If it's the latter, I would check that the web addresses for your web resource and canvas app are correct. If you open these addresses directly from the browser, do they appear correctly?

Nothing is appearing at all in the model driven app,
