Hi everyone,
Until last week, when we clicked an agent web part on the SharePoint site homepage, the chat panel on the right side would open with the selected agent.
However, starting this week, regardless of which agent web part is clicked, the chat that appears on the right side is always the SharePoint site agent instead of the selected agent.
When the right-side chat does not load the selected agent, we are unable to use the specific functions configured for that agent. We have tested this multiple times by clicking different agent web parts and reconnecting SharePoint to the agents, but the issue persists.
Does anyone know why this is happening and how we can fix it so that the right-side chat opens with the selected agent?

I have the same issue. The agents no longer open in the side pane and instead open in a new tab using the file preview experience which is not suitable for an agent.
Are your agents opening in the side pane again? If so, how did you get it fixed, did you need to raise a ticket with Microsoft Support?
