Hi all,I have an Input variable with a string. I would like to use this string in "Fill Textfield in Window". But dosn't work! The field is always empty. But the variable has a value. I don't get an Error.
What is the problem here?

When you say input variable are you referring to a variable being passed from Power Automate into Power Automate Desktop?
My "Input variable" comes from a step in my flow (Flow-Variable). I create a date value in Python. I use the step "Set variable" to bring this into the area "Input / Output variable".
I use only Power Automate Desktop here..
The Input/Output area are variables that are used between PAD and Power Automate. Anything within PAD and only PAD would fall under Flow Variables.
From the sound of it, you are creating/setting a variable (flow variable) from the output of a Python script. This variable is then supposed to be input into a text field of a Window. Something like this?
Yes, correct.I see on the right variable window that the variable has a value after the step "Set variable". But, when I use this variable in next step (Populate text field in window) the field is empty.
Can you post a screenshot of the actions?
I will test this in an other Flow. As a simple test...
The simple test with notepad.exe was successful. The method is clear. I will check this in the other flow.
