Can't put modern table dates into dd/mm/yyyy format

Hello,

I have a modern table that is showing dates in mm/dd/yyyy format, but I am trying to put it in dd/mm/yyyy format. I have tried setting ContentLanguage = "en-GB", DateTimeFormat/DateOnlyFormat = "dd/mm/yyyy", but no luck so far.

I've read that it may change depending on your system language, but I can't change my work laptop language away from English (United States).

Any help would be much appreciated!

    This is a known limitation with modern table controls in Microsoft Power Apps — what you’re seeing is expected behavior.

    Why your changes didn’t work
    • ContentLanguage = "en-GB"
    • DateOnlyFormat = "dd/mm/yyyy"
    These do not override how modern tables render dates.

    Modern tables:
    Always respect the user’s browser/system locale, not app-level settings.
    Since your system is English (United States):
    • Dates render as MM/DD/YYYY regardless of your formulas.
    Try below as workaround :

    Convert date to text

    Create a calculated column in your Items:
    • Text(YourDateColumn, "[$-en-GB]dd/mm/yyyy")
    Then bind your table column to this new field.

    Use AddColumns() in your Filter.
    AddColumns(
       Filter(
          DataSource,
          YourPresentFilterHere
       ),
       MyDate,
       Text(YourDateField, "dd/mm/yyyy")
    )
    Then show MyDate (or whatever you want to call it) in the Table. Also note that Modern Tables are still in preview and have a few other quirks that have been mentioned on this Community.

    - Convert the date to text with something like: Text(DateColumn, "[$-en-GB]dd/mm/yyyy")
    - Or, add a calculated column: AddColumns(Filter(...), "MyDate", Text(DateField, "dd/mm/yyyy"))
    - Then, show that new text field in your table instead of the original date.
