Sharing App with a Security Group doesnt work

Hi, our customer has a tenant where we add external users as guest users who then again are added to a Security Group. In the Power Platform we then have shared an app with that Security Group and assigned a Security Role to it. I also have added two test Service Accounts who are set up as internal users in the Azure to the Security Group. These Service Accounts are then able to access the application and have the according permissions assigned to them. However the other users, who are guest users in the tenant but are in the same Security Group get an error when opening the app. Saying they havent been added to the organisation. If I though share the app with the users individually however...it works.

So the bottom line is that users who are guest users in the tenant are not able to access the app if it has been shared with the Security Group that they are in which internal users who are in the same SG can access it. If I share the app with the guest users individually and assign the Security Role however it works.

Has anybody experienced this behaviour before? Is this a bug?

Once you have created the team and associated it with the Entra ID group, ensure that the 'Membership type' is set to 'Members and guests', don't forget to assign the correct security role to the team again. Hope this helps.

A couple of suggestions - I have numerous external users across customers able to access via Security Groups, so it works. Firstly, check that they have accepted the invitation. Also for debugging, share with them directly and also try making them a member and see if they can access.
