Filter a power BI report using power automate

ReportReport
Posted on by 115
Hi all,

I have a Power BI report that shows the time spent on each project for a team.

I want to create a Power Automate flow that exports a filtered PNG of the report for each team member and uploads it to SharePoint.

Here is the table data used (0-EOTP as X field, DAYS & BI_rev_CUM as Y, 0-NOM would be my filter field)

the flow I have so far is:

and the way i parameter the export power BI report to file is:

the reportLevelFilters I use is:

[
  {
    "filter": "BI_vs_SAP/0-NOM eq '@{items('Appliquer_à_chacun')}')}'",
    "filterType": 1
  }
]

I've tried many filters using the community post, but I can't find the solution. I get an unfiltered report so far.

does anyone have an idea? is what I want to do even possible?

thanks

    to solve this problem there 3 actions to do:
    1. in the power BI report, add the field "0-NOM " as a filter for all page (generally speaking, all fields to be filtered in URL have to be added here
    2. republish the report
    3. test the filtering by updating the URL ?filter=TableName/FieldName eq ‘valeur’
    if the report is well filtered then it will be possible to automatise this action with power automate by passing filter=TableName/FieldNam eq ‘valeur’ as a parameter for ReportLevelFilter
