I hope i'm in the right space for this question.
This IS NOT POWERBI related.
Can a gateway or connection to sql server go idle after so many hours...and cause the gateway to disconnect on its own ?
If it does can we chnage a setting to keep the connection alive over night ?
or
Is there a wat to kick start it back up at a ceryain time in the morning ?.
keep getting errors saying the Gateway is in a faulted state.

Note sure if you got this resolved yet, but suggest to submit a Microsoft Support Ticket at: https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/support. Hopefully the support team will be able to give you more details on the issue with their telemetry and logs.
