I installed Power BI Gateway on one of our servers and then I went in and created a Data Source connection to a SQL Server DB and a shared folder from Power BI -> Manage Gateways screen.
When I go into Microsoft flow or Powerapps, I am not able to see that connection though. Should it show up?
My assumption was that I can install a gateway and configure all the different connections and use it across Power BI , Flow and Powerapps. Is that not the case? Have I understood this wrong?
Hi @VickyD,
You could use the same Gateway in Power BI, PowerApps, MS Flow to access On-prem database like SharePoint, Sql server etc.
However, the connection established in Power BI is not related to the connection established in MS Flow. If you want to establish a connection with On-prem connector in MS Flow, you need to create a new connection.
The connection established between MS Flow and PowerApps can be used together, provided that the environment selection must be the same.
Best Regards,
