Hi,
I have a strange issue with the "Current Time" element while building a flow. As far the description goes, the time output should be in UTC. So I added the time zone converter for my time zone (UTC+1) and have the output redirected to a sharepoint list. Now the converter does work, but the time is way off. With UTC+1 I get 01:30 as output, while the time is 8:30.
I had to adjust the converter now to UTC+8 for the current time being displayed correctly. Why am I not getting the UTC time from the "Current Time" element?
This is the part of my flow right now:
Yes that worked just right, thanks again. The formatting in the list doesnt match the preview in the Flow but I guess thats another topic...
Hi @psg234 ,
If this answers your question around TZ conversion, please accept it as the Solution.
PS. Don't forget to set the destination TZ back to UTC+1 once your figure out the issue with your inputs 😉
@BCBuizer Hi, thanks for the hint with the raw output, I didnt think of checking that. That actually does look completely right to me, seems like the issue is within the list when I guess.
Ill check that again, strange thing is that now the time is displayed right in the list. I guess theres some kind of strange conversion or something going on.
For me the exact same flow works without issues:
Hi @psg234 ,
Just FYI, this is the PowerApps community, not the Power Automate community.
However, can you given an example with both input and output (screenshot) to see what's happening at the timezone conversion step?
