Returning to Power Apps After a Teams Call: Is It Possible?

Hi everyone,

I was just thinking about an idea I have. but I'm not quite sure if it's possible.

So my question is: is it possible to start a Teams call within a Power App. and when the call ends. is it possible to navigate back to the Power App from which the call was started?

I would love to hear from you guys. If this is possible and. if so, how i can approach this idea.

Thanks in advance for reading this post and thinking along with me.

    Hi @Panterack ,

    That's a brilliant idea!!!

Launching a Teams Call from Power App:

    • While there no direct out-of-the-box (OOB) solution to initiate a Teams call directly from a Power App, you can create a workaround.
    • You can use a URL scheme to launch Teams from your app. For example, you can construct a URL like this:

    msteams://teams.microsoft.com/l/call/0/0?users=[email]

Replace [EMAIL] with the recipient's email address.

Navigating back is not possible from teams, as it is a different application.

While it’s not a direct integration, combining URL schemes and navigation functions can help you achieve your idea. Feel free to experiment and adapt this concept to your specific use case!

    hey @Panterack

this is not a supported feature of powerapps and or teams. Just out of intrest, which use case do you want to cover with it?
