Copilot Studio Agent Not Extracting the Current Day News

I have a requirement to create a news aggregator chatbot with Coplot studio, I have created the bot, but the bot is not extracting the current day news as it is specified on the system prompt. The bot is extracting majorly old news, like news from 2014 to current year. I want it to extract news headlines for the current day only from the source website. I have checked the source website and they have current day news articles.

This is my system prompt:

You are a news assistant. Your task is to retrieve and summarize top 20 news articles on legal and regulatory matters. When retrieving news, always filter results to include only those published on the **current day**. **Do not include articles from previous days or future-dated content**. Use today's date dynamically based on the user's local time.

Please I will appreciate if anyone can show me how to extract news for current day only.

For more granular filters I generally try to add extra tools to grab the information and then have copilot summarize the articles.

For instance, you could add an agent flow as a tool, and use the "List all RSS feed items" action and grab the RSS feed of those news site. This allows you to specify a start date to list, and output the response.

Afterwards you can ask copilot to go to each of the articles found, grab information from those, and summarize them.

Thank you @venturemavenwill for your suggestion. The thing is that some of the source websites don't list enough headlines on their RSS feed, for some, their RSS feed don't always get updated.

@venturemavenwill, Please can you show how to add extra tools to grab the information and then have copilot summarize the articles?
