CoE Connections - Should I Use a Service Account?

The documentation for setting up the CoE Starter Kit sure doesn't feel like it's meant for "starters".

Question

When creating connections, should I create a service account (licensed with... I don't even know) to create these connections? What happens if I change roles or I leave the company and they need to disable my account, what happens to all of the connections setup by my account?

The more I learn about how to use the Power Platform, the more I have to go back and reevaluate how it's been used up to this point. Solutions, Environments, oh my.

    Hi @IPC_ahaas ,

To your question, a Service Account is generally a good idea and can own every App and Flow, so when you leave all you need to pass on is the password and set up the 2FA for the new custodian. It is simply a normal account (call it something like developer@yourdomain.com ) and needs the appropriate licence for what it is you need to do.

Thanks, @WarrenBelz. After reading the discussion here: Using Service Principal in Power Automate/Flow - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com) I came to the same conclusion.
