PVA on MS Teams, Detail Menu Missing

Hi all, new to PVA on MS Teams.

I have recently gotten approval only for PVA on MS Teams, have been testing and trying out some functionality of a new bot.

Right now I have met with 2 issues, hope someone can help me out on whats wrong.

1. under the bot detail screen > settings > details, there is no menu appearing on the top. instead it kept on showing 'an unexpected server error occurred'. any way I can get it to appear and work?

2. this lead to the 2nd issue, I am also unable to change name for my test bot, why is it so?

Thank you @AndyYWS for bringing this to our attention. These two issues appear to be related. There should be a menu item to save your changes.

This issue has been escalated to the Power Virtual Agents engineering team to look into.

Here is a workaround:
open your bot, click on "View solution"

then once you are in the solution click on your bot to open it in the power virtual agent editor
Then you have access to all the info and can rename the bot

hi @remidyon ,

Thank you for the workaround, unforunately, i only have access to PVA on MS Teams, and not PVA on site

Is there another workaround?

Hello Vicky,
If you can't use the workaround above I suggest you raise a ticket to our customer support.
This is a known issue and should be resolved soon.

I am also experiencing this issue! And I also cannot utilize the "workaround" because I built my bot in Teams and do not have a PVA license.

Has anyone found a solution?

Fixes for the unexpected server error message and the missing menu bar have been coded.

These fixes are scheduled to be deployed to production by the end of next week (March 30, 2023) pending the completion of testing. If any issues are found in the release that these fixes are included in, the planned deployment may be delayed.
