Email Notifications Not Delivered

(0) ShareShare

My flow ends with an email notification. All steps up to and including the email notification are succesful. The result of the flow (a list in Excel) is always correct. The Notification step always has the green check mark and other logging info indicating that it succeeded.

Nevertheless, the notification email arrrives in my Inbox only 40% of the time (2-3 days out of 7 each week).

Notifications that don't get delivered, don't end up in my Spam folder either. And why would they? They're all identical "success" messages.

I'm on GSuite for my email, so that's where the notifications should be delivered.

Does anyone have a similar experience, and more importantly, has anyone gotten the delivery fixed?

(Previously, in the same flow, Insert Rows into Excel failed about half the time. This turned out to be a stability or capacity issue on the Flow side (nothing to do with my flow), and was fixed while my correspondence with Support dragged on. I'm having the same dragging-on-without-any-progress experience with Support on this issue, which is why I'm trying my luck here.)

    Hi @florismk,

Could you please share a screenshot of your flow's configuration?

I have made a test on my side and don't have the issue that you mentioned. Please check if the "Send an email" action has sent proper email to your mailbox.

In addition, please also check if you have enabled the "Schedule an automatic send/receive every n minutes" option within your Outlook mailbox (I assume that you send emails to your Outlook mailbox). More details about scheduling an automatically send/receive email message, please check the following article:

    Change send/receive group settings

Please also check if your Outlook mailbox doesn't refresh automatically. Please check and see if the following article would help in your scenario:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/312336/e-mail-messages-are-not-automatically-sent-or-received-at-startup-in-o

You could consider take a try to clear cache of your browser and re-create your flow to check if the issue is solved.

    Best regards,

    Kris

    Hi Kris,

    Thanks for your response.

I'm on GSuite, so my email is GMail, which has instant inbox updates. So there's no issue with delayed delivery or inbox refresh on that side.

Also, the flow completes succesfully every single time, including the Email Notification step. So I'm not clear how screenshots of my flow are going to be of any assistance. All Email Notifications succeed, according to the flow log; only 40% are delivered.

    Floris
